What is your nutrition philosophy?
Food should be used to nourish our bodies. Food is comfort, it gives us energy and allows us to socialize with our loved ones. While there are medications and supplements that can help get results, they don’t work alone. Our bodies need a variety of nutrients in order to properly function, manage our weight and balance our hormones. There’s no need to shop at high-end grocery stores or only eat organic to meet your nutrition goals- unless that’s a personal preference or medical need. Healthy eating includes bread, pasta, meat, sweets, and plants. Yes, all food fits- this is called a diet and it needs to be customized to meet your goals. The only time I recommend eliminating food groups or avoiding certain foods are for medical reasons such as allergies. While I do subscribe to the “calories in vs calories out” model, I am more focused on the right amount to ensure all nutrients are represented. It is possible to not reach your intended nutrition goal due to undereating. I believe my clients should not have to stress about what to eat and when. That is what I went to school for! So let me do the work for you so you can sit back and reach your nutrition goals effortlessly.
