Frequently Asked Questions

Do you only work with women with PCOS?

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). I have experience in assessing patients of all ages and medical conditions. My practice specializes in medical nutrition therapy for weight management and nutrition treatment for hormone health. If you are dealing with mood swings, stomach issues, infertility, weird menstrual cycles, low energy, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, or any other nutritional issue that affects your hormone health, you are invited to get more information!

Do you put clients on a diet?

Yes. Meal Plans are diets. They should be individualized based on the client’s medical conditions, preferences, and goals, and more importantly, prescribed by a dietitian. Clients in our program do not count calories or have to figure out what to eat on their own. Instead, we do all the work so they can enjoy their meals and results.

Do you take Insurance?

Yes! I am now accepting most major insurances. Insurance is not accepted for all programs and services. Please confirm with your insurance provider if nutrition services are covered. Feel free to email me at andreanorelle@andreanorelle to confirm and for any detailed questions you may have. Once your insurance is confirmed, you will get a private booking link!

I also accept FSA and HSA debit/credit cards. Payment plans and financing options are available. We accept cash, Visa credit/debit, Mastercard/debit, PayPal credit, and AMEX. Medical receipts are provided upon request to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Are you willing to participate in a more premium program to help maximize your results, even if it's not covered by insurance? If yes, schedule a Clarity Call!

How much does it cost to work with a dietitian?

We do accept insurance for most nutrition services. Please confirm with your insurance coverage, including copays and other associated costs.

If you’re willing to participate in a more premium program to help maximize your results, even if not covered by insurance, schedule a clarity call. Clarity calls are $99.

Do you offer single sessions?

Yes, we offer 1:1 sessions and program packages. Not sure where to start? The first step in working together is to book a Clarity Call or shoot me a text or email to use your insurance benefits. Insurance is not accepted for Clarity Calls.

What do we discuss on the Clarity Call?

The Clarity Call is 30 minutes long. We delve deep into your goals, and I provide personalized next-step nutrition recommendations. You will walk away with premium time-saving resources to help you move forward confidently and help maximize your results.

Are appointments offered in the office or virtually?

We only offer sessions virtually. Clients can schedule visits during dinner time and don’t have to fight for parking spaces or sit in traffic as when traveling to an office.

How is my privacy protected during a virtual visit?

All appointments are held using HIPAA-compliant applications. Clients have a private portal that can be accessed from anywhere using a phone, computer, or tablet.

What are the differences between dietitians and nutritionists?

The main difference comes down to education and the scope of practice. A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is a designation for a nutrition professional who has received a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in nutrition and dietetics (and in most cases a Master’s Degree). Dietitians have completed a dietetic internship consisting of over a thousand hours of supervised practice, passed an entrance exam, and obtained a license to practice in their state(s). Continuing education hours are required to maintain our credentials, like physicians and nurses. Dietitians provide medical nutrition therapy, treating and managing diseases and other conditions. A nutritionist may complete a degree in nutrition, but does not have the same amount of extensive post-baccalaureate regulatory education. They are not able to diagnose, treat, or provide medical nutrition advice.
