Yes. Meal Plans are diets. They should be individualized based on the client’s medical conditions, preferences, and goals, and more importantly, prescribed by a dietitian. Clients in our program do not count calories or have to figure out what to eat on their own. Instead, we do all the work so they can enjoy their meals and results.

Yes, I accept insurance for traditional nutrition counseling services. This includes meal planning, dietary guidance, and standard nutritional assessments covered under most major insurance plans.
However, my premium Hormone Rebalancing Program is cash-pay only and does not accept insurance. -
Insurance companies reimburse for treating disease, not preventing it. They'll pay for diabetes medication but won't cover comprehensive hormone testing that prevents you from becoming diabetic in the first place.
They'll cover basic thyroid panels (just TSH) but not the full testing that reveals why your metabolism is actually sluggish. They'll pay for antidepressants but not the cortisol testing that shows your hormones are causing mood issues.
My premium program focuses on root cause solutions through comprehensive testing, personalized protocols, and 90 days of support to rebalance your hormones. Insurance doesn't cover prevention or optimization — only reactive sick care.
That said, I provide a detailed invoice (superbill) you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement under your out-of-network benefits. Some clients get partial reimbursement, but it depends on your specific plan.
Think of this as an investment in fixing what's hormonally wrong so you're not spending decades on medications, yo-yo dieting, and feeling exhausted. The cost of staying stuck is way higher than the investment in getting it fixed right the first time. -
Traditional nutrition counseling focuses on optimizing your diet, creating meal plans, and helping you build sustainable eating habits. That's valuable work — and honestly, it works great when your hormones are functioning properly.
But here's what I've learned working with women who've already tried everything: If your hormones are dysfunctional, even the most perfect nutrition plan hits a wall. You're eating clean, following the plan perfectly, and your body just won't respond. That's not a failure of nutrition — it's a hormonal blockage that no amount of dietary changes can override.
My program starts where traditional nutrition counseling ends. We begin with comprehensive testing that reveals what's happening hormonally — your insulin sensitivity, cortisol patterns throughout the day, how your body metabolizes estrogen, thyroid conversion efficiency, inflammatory markers.
Then we build a personalized protocol addressing YOUR specific hormonal dysfunction. Targeted supplementation for deficiencies your body can't fix through food alone. Dietary modifications based on your metabolic type and hormone patterns. Lifestyle changes that support your cortisol rhythm. Bioidentical hormone support when indicated.
This isn't replacing nutrition counseling — it's addressing the hormonal layer that determines whether nutrition changes actually work. Most of my clients have done the nutrition piece right. Their problem wasn't what they were eating. It was their hormones blocking their body's ability to respond to good nutrition.
Think of it this way: Nutrition counseling gives you the right tools. Hormone optimization makes sure your body can actually use them. -
We delve deep into your goals, and I provide personalized next-step nutrition recommendations. You will walk away with a better relationship with food, receive personal meal plans, grocery lists, and other time-saving resources to help you move forward confidently, to lose weight, maintain it, and achieve a healthy lifestyle.

The main difference comes down to education and the scope of practice. A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) is a designation for a nutrition professional who has received a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in nutrition and dietetics (and in most cases a Master’s Degree). Dietitians have completed a dietetic internship consisting of over a thousand hours of supervised practice, passed an entrance exam, and obtained a license to practice in their state(s). Continuing education hours are required to maintain our credentials, like physicians and nurses. Dietitians provide medical nutrition therapy, treating and managing diseases and other conditions. A nutritionist may complete a degree in nutrition, but does not have the same amount of extensive post-baccalaureate regulatory education. They are not able to diagnose, treat, or provide medical nutrition advice.
